The library is guided in its activities by the ‘Law of Georgia on Vocational Education,’ the ‘Library Affairs Law’ of Georgia, the Charter of the College, this rule, and other legal acts applicable within the College.
A reader/subscriber has the right to use the library’s print collections, reading room, electronic catalog, and free access to electronic databases.
The library provides free access to computers, the internet, photocopiers, and scanners.
The resources available in the library correspond to the professional programs implemented by the College.
The library’s operating hours are Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
A person wishing to join the library is required to familiarize themselves with the library’s operational rules and the rights and responsibilities of the reader as defined by these rules.
The membership of a vocational student is activated immediately upon enrollment in the institution for free – a reader’s form/electronic file is created, which contains the following information: the vocational student’s full name, date of birth, personal identification number, address, phone number, and specialty.
The membership of the administrative staff, vocational education teachers, training course instructors, listeners, and other staff invited by the institution is activated after their appointment to the position, for free – a reader’s form/electronic file is created, which contains the following information: the reader’s full name, date of birth, personal identification number, address, phone number, and specialty.
Each specific case of library material being borrowed is recorded in the reader’s card, including the full title of the book, as well as the borrowing and return dates.

A reader can only borrow a resource from the library with the librarian’s permission.The borrowing/returning of library intellectual resources depends on the resource’s category, the number of copies available, and the frequency of its demand.
Materials kept in a single copy in the library’s collection will not be issued under any circumstances. Such materials can be used within the college’s reading space.
A reader is allowed to borrow up to 3 books at a time.

If an actively used book is requested by another reader, the user must return it to the library no later than 48 hours after receiving a notification from the library administration, even if it is before the previously agreed-upon return date.
The reader/subscriber may request an extension of the return period for the borrowed book either in person or via email, only if there is no demand for the book.
One day after the book return deadline has passed, the reader will no longer be able to borrow the intellectual resource outside of the library’s designated area. The library staff member who issues (or receives) materials is required to check the condition of the material with the reader. In the event of damage, the librarian must document the findings. In the case of damage or loss of library resources, the reader is obligated to provide a replacement or compensate for the loss.
The reader/subscriber will receive a warning from the library administration regarding:
Three days after the return deadline, the librarian will send the reader a reminder about the overdue book.
The librarian will also send a warning if the book borrowed by the reader is requested by another reader.
The librarian will send a warning about the sanctions outlined in this document if the library usage rules are violated.
Failure to receive a notification about the overdue return does not exempt the reader from their obligations
In the college library, library resources can be acquired through purchase, donation, or accessible electronic links. After entering the library, printed resources are recorded in the inventory book. They are then technically processed (labeled, stamped, tagged, classified, etc.), and subsequently entered into the electronic catalog, with an entry made in the card catalog. The fully described and processed resource is shelved on the shelf according to the appropriate decimal classification.
