A person will be awarded credits based on the confirmation of learning outcomes, which can be achieved through the following:
- a) Recognition of learning outcomes achieved within the framework of prior formal education;
b) Recognition of learning outcomes achieved through non-formal education in accordance with the procedures established by Georgian legislation;
c) Confirmation of learning outcomes through assessment methods. There are two types of assessment: developmental and summative.
- Developmental assessment will be carried out using both points and passing principles.
- Summative assessment will be based solely on the passing principles (competence confirmation), and it admits two types of outcomes:
- Learning outcome confirmed;
- Learning outcome not confirmed.
In case of a negative result in summative assessment, the student has the right to request additional assessment of learning outcomes before completing the program. The assessment method(s) are provided as recommendations in the modules.
