We have developed an innovative digital portal that is unique within Georgia’s vocational education sector. The platform provides comprehensive digital management of the educational process and significantly simplifies both administrative and academic procedures.
Students are able to record the results of all subjects electronically, supporting efficient and transparent data management. Teachers can prepare academic calendars and schedules, upload documents related to the learning process, and manage educational activities with ease. The platform also includes automatic generation of academic records, further reducing administrative workload and paperwork.
The portal also contains students’ personal files, ensuring the systematic storage of their academic and administrative information. Once learning outcomes are confirmed, individual portfolios are automatically created in the system, significantly strengthening the documentary support of students’ professional development.
The portal effectively replaces paper-based processes and enables the transition to a fully digital, flexible, and modern management system.

Readers – Learning Guides
Another important development in the educational process was the creation of readers (learning guides) for individual study modules, representing an innovative approach in vocational education. A reader is a specially designed learning guide for students, presenting the key topics of each module in clear and easy-to-understand language.
The readers were developed with the following objectives:
1) to help students better understand and retain the key topics of each module;
2) to make complex theoretical material more accessible and easier to understand;
3) to facilitate independent learning;
4) to provide learning materials in a clear and logically structured format without excessive academic terminology, enabling students to understand theoretical concepts more quickly and apply them in practice.

Grant Proposal Development and Fundraising
Representatives of Meridian College participated in a three-day training program for colleges organized by the Vocational Skills Agency on the topic “Grant Proposal Development and Fundraising.”
The training was held at New Wave College and brought together representatives of vocational education institutions actively working in the field of internationalization.
Through both theoretical and practical activities, participants explored all key components required for preparing a successful grant proposal.
At the same time, they had the opportunity to review and discuss project documents prepared and funded under the Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2 grant programs.
The training module was developed in accordance with lifelong learning standards for adults recognized by the Council of Europe and the European Commission.
The new knowledge and skills acquired during the training will significantly support college representatives in attracting international funding and developing competitive project proposals.
The three-day training was conducted within the framework of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) project “Modernizing Vocational Education and Training System in Agriculture in Georgia.”
