Registration is opening for the vocational education program “Deck Department Operation.”
Tuition for the vocational education program is fully funded by the state.
Vocational Education Program: Deck Department Operation
Qualification Awarded: Basic Vocational Qualification in Deck Department Operation – Rating
The duration of the program is 15 months: 9 months of theoretical training and 6 months of practical training onboard a vessel.
Admission Requirements: At least a document confirming completion of basic general education (9th grade) and a motivational interview.
Graduates may be employed on vessels engaged in international or domestic navigation, as well as in public or private institutions related to maritime transport services and operations.
Registration for the vocational education program will be open from April 22 through May 16.

To raise awareness of the seafaring profession and introduce students to the educational opportunities available at Meridian College, representatives of the College visited schools in Batumi, Chakvi, Kobuleti, Khulo, and Shuakhevi.
The purpose of these meetings was to provide school students with information about the opportunities offered by Meridian College.
All meetings were conducted in an interactive, discussion-based format, allowing students to ask questions and receive comprehensive answers from College representatives.
